Becoming an affiliate at Live Out Loud is not only easy to do; it also means big payouts for you! Each month large commission checks are being cut to our affiliates. This month alone, two Live Out Loud affiliates received just over $10,000! Yes, that’s $10,000 in two bank accounts just for working with us! We have hundreds of active affiliates in our community who are using the program to create extra cash and we want YOU to be one of them!

Let’s start by reviewing the basics of affiliate marketing. By definition affiliate marketing is a type of marketing in which an affiliate (YOU) is rewarded ($$) by a business (LIVE OUT LOUD) for bringing in customers as a result of marketing efforts. At Live Out Loud, our rewards include commission payments of 50% of the retail value of our products and 10% of live events or training seminars. We also offer special promotions during which even higher commissions are paid. Affiliate marketing efforts primarily consist of online techniques, including advertising products/services on websites and email/database marketing.

Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s look at what it takes to get started as an affiliate for Live Out Loud:

The first step is to sign-up and create your own affiliate account.
During account creation, you will be asked to create a username and password. BE SURE TO KEEP THIS INFORMATION, as you will need it to sign into your account. (If you are a current affiliate and have lost your log-in information, contact lindsay.sherman@liveoutloud to retrieve it.)

Once you have created your account, you can now log into your Referral Partner Center.
Your Referral Partner Center contains all of the links and resources you need to start marketing. There are three sections in the Referral Partner Center:

1. The Home Section – This area contains all of the general information for your affiliate account. Here you can update your profile and view your commission programs.

2. The Resource Section – This area contains your Link Generator which houses all of your custom tracking links for the current Live Out Loud promotions. These links are tied to your account. Anyone who purchases a product or registers for an event through your link is tagged to you. THIS IS HOW YOUR COMMISSION IS TRACKED. Cut and paste or embed these links into your websites and emails etc. This section also includes graphics and email copy designed to support the promotion of specific products etc.

3. The Reports Section – This area allows you to track your commissions earned and payable by product.

Now it’s time to start marketing! Here are a few tips to help you become successful:

• Know the products you are promoting. If you can personally recommend something and are familiar with it, you will be better at selling it
• Find a good fit. Always look for audiences who will benefit from the product or service you are promoting
• Make sure it is relevant. The product you are promoting should be relevant to the content of the site you are promoting from
• Use original content. We provide you with templates, but at minimum customize all of your content
• Communicate. We are here to support your marketing efforts. We will not do all the work for you, but can certainly offer program support and assistance when needed
